The mission of AEN is to connect accomplished and award-winning published and indie authors with book lovers by sharing space with other great authors to sell directly to the reader at major festivals, fairs, or community events.  With AEN the author will sell more books, earn the highest margins, and build a relationship with their community.

AEN is a State of Washington non-profit association of authors run by members, operating in Washington and Oregon.

Tens of thousands up to hundreds of thousands of visitors attend major local events, street fairs, county fairs, holiday markets and more.  AEN finds these events for our authors to share the booth time and cost, which lowers the break-even and increases profitability. AEN authors find NEW readers and earn the highest margins. Unlike a book festival, a booth of local accomplished and award-winning authors is unique.

AEN shares costs but never your profits. Collaboration with other authors creates a robust multi-genre mobile bookstore experience for event readers to choose. 

AEN membership is selective. We want every reader to have a positive reading experience. Which means, membership is not automatic. A panel of AEN members review each application to ensure we are providing high-quality, professionally produced, reader verified authors to the booth.

We meet monthly by Zoom to plan local events in advance.  Each AEN member author choses which events and how much booth time to buy.  Authors are 100% responsible for sales of their own books. AEN provides the booth and community.
